These terms cover **Mereframe Camera**, the Android app on Google Play as *Mereframe: RAW Camera & Video* (package `app.unnamed.rawrecording`), and Mereframe Pro, the optional purchase inside it. They are an agreement between you and Anderson Mendoza (andermendz), the individual developer who makes Mereframe, called “we” below. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.

### The short version
- Mereframe is free to download and use, with no ads. Pro is optional: pay once, or monthly until you cancel.
- What you take with Mereframe is yours. We claim no rights in it, and the app never sends it to us.
- Google Play takes every payment. Monthly renews by itself until you cancel it in Google Play, and Pro stays on until the month you paid for ends.
- Your rights under the consumer laws of the country where you live always apply.

### These terms

Google Play’s own terms also apply to downloading the app and to paying for Pro. How the app handles data is explained in our [Privacy Policy](https://mereframe.com/privacy/).

If you are not yet an adult where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

### Using the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Mereframe on Android phones you own or control. The photos and videos you make with it are yours to use for anything, personal or professional.

You may not:
- copy, sell, rent, share or redistribute the app, or modified versions of it;
- remove, disable or get around its purchase checks, licence checks or protections, or help anyone else do so;
- decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows that despite this term;
- use it to break the law or anyone else’s rights.

The name Mereframe and its logo are ours; the [press kit](https://mereframe.com/press/) says how they may be used in articles, reviews and videos. The app includes open-source parts under their own licences, listed in Settings › About Mereframe › Licences and credits.

### Your photos and videos

Everything you capture or make with Mereframe is yours. We claim no rights in it, and the app doesn’t send it to us or to anyone else unless you share it.

Your files are kept on your phone, not in a cloud. Keep your own backups: if a phone is lost or reset, or files are deleted, we can’t get them back.

You are responsible for what you capture and share, including respecting other people’s privacy and the rules on photography and filming where you are.

### Free and Pro

Mereframe is free to download and use, with no ads and no time limit. Mereframe Pro is an optional purchase that adds more. The Pro page in the app, and our [Specs](https://mereframe.com/specs/#pro) page, list what is free and what Pro adds.

What’s free stays free: full photo quality, Merge, Night, Ultra HDR, P3, one-frame RAW, manual controls and three looks won’t become Pro.

Some features depend on your phone’s camera, such as RAW, Night, lenses and frame rates. Before you pay, *On this phone* on the Pro page shows what works with the camera that is open.

### Paying for Pro

Pro is bought through Google Play, which takes the payment, shows the price where you are and adds any taxes. We never see your card or payment details. There are two ways to pay, and both unlock the same Pro:

**Pay once**

One payment, and nothing renews. Pro stays unlocked with no end date, works offline, and belongs to the Google account that paid: on a new phone, install Mereframe with the same account and tap *Restore* on the Pro page.

**Monthly**

A subscription that renews automatically. Every month, counting from the day you subscribed, Google Play charges the price you were shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. Monthly works offline until the month you paid for ends, plus 3 days; then the app needs to reach Google Play once to see that it is still active.

Prices are set in Google Play and can change. A new price never changes what you have already paid, and for Monthly, Google Play tells you before a higher price applies, so you can cancel first.

Codes from us are redeemed through Google Play (*Redeem a code* on the Pro page) and unlock what they were given for. Early supporters, who used Mereframe before Pro arrived in version 0.7.0, have Pro at no cost on the phone they upgraded; on a new phone or after a reinstall, write to us for a code.

### Cancelling Monthly

Cancel anytime in the Google Play app: your profile › Payments and subscriptions › Subscriptions › Mereframe › Cancel. Pro stays on until the month you paid for ends, and nothing more is charged. Uninstalling Mereframe doesn’t cancel Monthly, and neither does paying once: cancel it in Google Play.

When Monthly ends, Mereframe goes back to free. The photos, merged RAWs and videos you made with Pro stay yours, and still open and export.

### Refunds

Payments go through Google Play, so refunds follow Google Play’s refund policies: for 48 hours after buying, you can ask Google Play for a refund yourself. After that, write to [help@mereframe.com](mailto:help@mereframe.com) with the order number from your Google Play receipt (it starts with GPA.) and we’ll look at it; we can refund through Google Play.

A refunded or reversed payment no longer unlocks Pro. Cancelling Monthly stops the next charges; the month already paid for isn’t refunded, unless the law where you live requires it.

If you live in the EU, the UK or anywhere else that gives you the right to cancel a purchase, to a refund, or to a remedy when something you paid for doesn’t work as described, you have those rights as the law sets them.

### Updates

We update Mereframe often: to improve it, to keep it working on new phones and Android versions, and to fix problems. An update may add, change or remove features. The free features listed above stay free. If a change makes Pro you paid for clearly worse, write to us: you keep the remedies the law gives you, a refund included where it applies.

### No guarantees

We work hard to make Mereframe reliable, but it runs on many different phones and cameras, and it is provided as it is. We don’t promise that it works on every phone or without errors, or that every photo or video will be saved or come out the way you expected.

This doesn’t limit the legal guarantees you have as a consumer, such as getting what you paid for working as described.

### Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, such as lost photos or videos, lost work or lost profits, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for harm caused on purpose or by gross negligence.

### Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia, where we are based. If you use Mereframe as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts.

If something goes wrong, please write to us first: most problems are solved by an email.

### Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the app, Pro or the law changes. The new version will be posted here with a new date, and if a change affects what you have bought, the app’s release notes will say so. A change never takes away Pro you have already paid for. If you don’t agree with a change, you can stop using the app and cancel Monthly.
